2PC.YM Adult Leadership

At 2PC, we believe that it is of the utmost importance for adults to be present in our youth ministry. This ensures that the students have multiple adults present in their lives to encourage their growth as disciples and missionaries for Christ.

There is no question that behind every faithful Christian is a group of believers who are encouraging them in their life of discipleship. We also know that it takes 5-7 significant relationships with adults for each student to get the support they need. Therefore, if you are interested in being a mentor to these students, please contact youth director, Josh Erickson.

Here are some of the many ways you can serve as an adult in the youth ministry of 2PC:
-Junior high (Powerhouse) team
-High school (Fellowship) team
-Youth committee (prior involvement with youth ministry is needed)
-Meal preparation
-Transportation Team (transporting students and leaders to events)
-Confirmation class mentor
-Event organization

*At 2PC, we define “adult” as someone who has graduated from high school. If you are a freshman or sophomore in college, you are welcome to help lead the junior high program. If you are a junior or senior in college you are welcome to serve with either the junior high or high school program. A background check is required of all participants who are 18 years of age or older.
