What time are your worship services?

Second Presbyterian Church offers three worship opportunities on Sunday mornings.

8:15 a.m. - Worship in the Marquis Chapel with communion each week

11:00 a.m. - Contemporary worship in the sanctuary

Worship services start promptly at the times given above. There's no assigned seating. For more on the various worship offerings, click here

What do people wear to worship?

Each service has a different feel. You'll see a range of styles at all services, but generally you'll see more men in ties and more women in skirts at 8:15 and 9:00 than at 11:00 where you'll see more jeans, t-shirts, shorts, and sandals.

How long are your services?

The 8:15 service is usually about 45 minutes while the 9:00 and 11:00 are about an hour. Each service includes music, singing, a biblically based sermon and an opportunity to give back to God through our finances.

Will I be asked to stand or identify myself as a visitor?

You will not be asked to stand or publicly identify yourself as a visitor during the Sunday worship services. If you want to register your visit, you can do so by filling out the pew pad that is passed during the services or by filling out the "Please let us know" card, found in the pew racks. You may indicate if you would like someone to contact you for prayer or provide further information about 2PC. We would love to get to know you!

Do you have programs for children?

Absolutely. 2PC offers a wide range of programs for kids, from infants through high school. For each of the Sunday services, 2PC's nursery and early childhood classes are fully staffed and prepared to receive your kids, providing a loving environment to learn about Jesus in age-appropriate ways. 2PC's elementary grade classes are fun and provide solid teaching curriculum to help kids grow in their faith. For more information about weekend and mid-week programs for children, go to the Children's Ministries page.

We also have large-group programs for junior high (grades 6-8) and high school (grades 9-12).

Are your facilities accessible?

Yes. 2PC's facilities have an accessible design to accommodate physically disabled, impaired, or challenged persons.
