Welcome to 2PC.YM Junior High! 2PC.YM Junior High is sharing the heart of Christ in the heart of the community and loving every minute of it. So if you are a junior high student who is looking for a place to expereince the blessings God has in store for you and wanting to be a blessing in the world, then look no further because you've found the right place for you! And if you are a parent of a junior high student and you want God's best for your student, then you've found the right place too! 2PC.YM Junior High cannot wait for you to join in the crazy adventure! Powerhouse (5-6:45pm on most Wednesdays during the school year)

All junior high students are encouraged to be a part of PowerHouse, a Wednesday evening youth program. PowerHouse begins in September and concludes in the end of April. Powerhouse features great music, an awesome dinner prepared by Chef Paul and the great kitchen team, biblically centered teaching, and age-based discussion groups. Powerhouse is led by the awesome PowerHouse Leadership Team and Josh Erickson, associate pastor for youth. This program is offered to students in 6th-8th grade. PowerHouse is guaranteed to be fun and exciting...hopefully the best two hours of your week!

Choir

All junior high students are invited to participate in Carillon Choir.

Commissioning Class

Purpose of 8th Grade Commissioning Class at 2PC:

To provide students with a faith formation experience that will allow them to be adult participants in the mission of the church.
To provide students the opportunity to continue studying and growing in the Christian faith.
To provide an opportunity for students to publically profess their faith and become members of 2PC.

Commissioning Class is know as Confirmation at other churches. It is called Commissioning Class at 2PC because the end of the class does not mark the end of a students participation in the life of the church. Rather the end of the class is the beginning of the students' status as "comissioned" members of the church who are called to share the heart of Christ in the heart of the community wherever they go.

The next commissioning class will begin in January of 2012.
