Powerhouse

All junior high students are encouraged to be a part of PowerHouse, a Wednesday evening youth program. PowerHouse begins in September.  Powerhouse features great music, an awesome dinner prepared by Chef Paul and the great kitchen team, biblically centered teaching, and age-based discussion groups. Powerhouse is led by the awesome PowerHouse Leadership Team and Josh Erickson, youth director. This program is offered to students in 6th-8th grade. PowerHouse is guaranteed to be fun and exciting...hopefully the best two hours of your week!

Purpose of 8th Grade Commissioning Class at 2PC:

• To provide students with a faith formation experience that will allow them to be adult participants in the mission of the church.
• To provide students the opportunity to continue studying and growing in the Christian faith.
• To provide an opportunity for students to publically profess their faith and become members of 2PC.

Commissioning Class is know as Confirmation at other churches. It is called Commissioning Class at 2PC because the end of the class does not mark the end of a students participation in the life of the church. Rather the end of the class is the beginning of the students' status as "comissioned" members of the church who are called to share the heart of Christ in the heart of the community wherever they go.

2010 Commissioning Class has begun for this year. Please contact Josh Erickson, youth director, if you are new to the church and have an 8th grade student who you would like to get into the class.
