2PC's Website Receives High Honors

According to recent news from Google, 2PC is one of the most popular local businesses on Google—in fact we are in the top 1% in our surrounding area! To go even further we are in the top 1% of more than 250,000 businesses in the surrounding area.

This is great news and shows our website has grown tremendously in the last year. Very special thanks to Karen Stevenson, Arcadia Kust, Josh Erickson, Dean Kladder and Brian Hiles for all their hard work to make the 2PC website so special!

Bethel Bible Series Demo Class

In keeping up with our 2PC theme for the year, Learn the Word. Love the World., Dr. Roane Deckert has agreed to teach an extraordinary two-year Bethel Bible Series beginning September 2010.

What is the Bethel series? It is a series of 20 Old Testament studies and 20 New Testament studies. This includes two hours of class room time per study, and an image for each study to help visualize Biblical concepts. This is a college level course designed to give the serious student an overview of the entire Biblical narrative. This is NOT an in-depth study of any single Biblical book or set of books. More information coming soon! Questions? Contact Sue Taulbee or Barby Pratt-Mecherle, small group co-coordinators, at 828.6297.

Let Your Light Shine: Finishing Strong

Last Sunday was a great day of celebration as the Let Your Light Shine capital campaign culminated with Pledge Sunday. The goals of the campaign are to reach at least 395 pledging units and $3.43 million. Reaching these goals will mean that we will be able to fully retire the debt incurred with the construction of the new sanctuary. So far we have received 331 pledges, and are in the process of confirming them so that we can announce with accuracy the amount of money pledged to-date on Sunday 6/6/10.
