The Comforter

Because life can be bleak, or lonely, or desperate, God sends the Holy Spirit to us to comfort us.  Although we might long for the Spirit to comfort us by taking away everything wrong in our lives, instead the Spirit offers comfort by accompanying us in the midst of the storm, and by reminding us of everything that Christ has told us, such as “Peace I give you.”
