Kingdom Monologues

Through the two parables in the Matthew passage, Jesus tells us that the Kingdom of Heaven is like our joyfully finding a hidden treasure or the pearl of great price.  The sermon imagines a series of first person monologues, beginning with the treasure hunter and the pearl salesman, and then continuing on to current day people who invest their time and energy in their careers, bank accounts, or worrying.
