4/4/10 “Linens and Things”  Texts:  John 20:1-10 (primary), 1 Corinthians 15:51-57

This passage from John tells us about the disciples’ coming to Jesus’ tomb on the first Easter morning to find that he was risen.  Oddly, John spends thirty percent of his story talking about Jesus’ graveclothes—the cloths that wrapped his dead body.  Why would he fixate on such an odd detail?  The sermon explores the answer to this question, and what difference it makes to us, today.
