5/16/10 “WDYDWYD?”  (Sermon #5 from “Let Your Light Shine!” series)  Texts:  Ezra 5:6-16 (primary text); 2 Corinthians 8:10-12

As the Israelites work to finish the rebuilding of the temple, some detractors ask them (in so many words), “Why do you do what you do?”  There could have been many answers, but the one they say is, “We are servants of the God of heaven and earth.”  As the church moves toward the culmination of the capital campaign, it is helpful to consider why we do what we do as we pledge and give.
