I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life

9/19/10 “I am the Way and the Truth and the Life”  (Sermon #5 from “The Coming of the King” series)  Texts:  Jeremiah 29:10-14, John 14:1-11 (primary text)

When the disciples’ world is collapsing around them, Jesus knows just what to say to comfort them: that he has gone ahead of them to prepare a place for them, and that he is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.  We can rest in these same words, knowing that Jesus does not just know the way, the truth, and the life, but he is the way, the truth, and the life
