12/5/10 “Who’s Winning?” (Sermon #2 from “The Return of the King” series) Texts: Matthew 24:36-42; Revelation 7:9-17 (primary text)

Like the people to whom John was writing in the book of Revelation, when we look around, it is difficult to tell who’s winning, God, or the power of sin and death. Tragedies abound and the world is clearly not the way God wants it to be. However, this passage from Revelation assures us that God will win when Jesus returns and makes all things new.
